Equipment - Having the right equipment can be costly sometimes.  It’s worth the investment if you’re serious about making weekly, monthly or even yearly trips. Why would you half invest in something?  You can always get more out of your experience with the right equipment.  From tents to sleeping bags to pads you want to be comfortable and weather the storm if one should hit.

Accessories – It’s amazing how many accessories can compliment all your apparel and equipment.  From lanterns to GPS systems to survival gear your camping experience can be less of a challenge and much more enjoyable with a few accessories at your disposal.  What you bring on your camping trip is determined by your destination.  If you’re hiking don’t weigh yourself down with too many accessories.  Bring what you need.

Clothes - Knowing what to wear, when to wear it and how to get the best out of your clothes is important. Have you ever gone on a camping trip unprepared?  Hopefully you will learn and not go through the struggles many go through and start out right.  Don’t be stubborn when it comes to packing too light.  If you’re going on a camping trip where you’ll be at the same site go ahead and pack a little bit more clothing than might be required.  Especially for colder or wetter climate camping it’s always good to come prepared.
